Amber Sporting Goods Space Saver VKR Workout Tower

Received the product in a decent amount of time. Construction was flowing easily until I tried to reach the pull up bar in the support arm. The bolts were included for this too short to reach through the pull up bar and the holes in the support arm. There is nothing worse than ordering a product of need, spend time and energy to get built and frustrated by missing / incorrect parts. I’m pretty angry right now and I will not be ordering any Products Fitness more products manufactured by Amber Professional Boxing Gear.Quant performance of this product I have no idea. I let ya’ll know when I get back from Home Depot with the right bolts to stop this thing. Rating: 2 / 5
First, the gross shipping weight is 88 lbs. not 74. 8, quoted in the specifications. The tower is decompressed from 77 lbs (depending on manufacturer) UPS was not happy about moving this package and carton to show many signs of abuse. Only the charger being indicted here. The packaging was such that the box itself has given up to protect the contents and set aside some e ; gratignures he survived the journey quite well and, despite a few tears in the box with all pièces.Il took about an hour to assemble . The instructions were very well after reading through but I can see where it might be difficult to together because they were made so confused. Not really a sudden plan to just read and take your temps.La tower itself is very strong for such a small “wheelbase.” It does not take up a large amount of floor space but it is quite large (86 “), which creates a feeling that looms. I did not feel that the tower is staggered or during exercise. The leg lift handles which fold out of the way – a really pleasant when dipping. Thank you for that remark ” PickyCustomer “and as” Max Power “noted a slight bow of the head is required when doing dips for & # xe9; avoid colliding with the pullup bar. This is not something different than what I remember of the tower to gym.Il is only one complaint. There are two nuts that are welded in place. One of the nuts on my lap was sloppily welded to the bolt would not screw up. I have not fixed yet and it is not essential to use the tower. I will, at some point the nut and knock off either resolder or find a new nut and bolt to put in its place. I would take half a star out of the failure of QC. Rating: 5 / 5
I am a 6′3 “245 pounds and men were placed on the market for a tour of appropriate power for a while. I d & # xe9; cided on this product because the reviews were very positive and the design looked solid, which proved to be true. It is built of good material, with a broad and solid base for stability during your work-outs (even rapid quenching which tend to & # XEA; be choppy) and the design bending backwards well suited to the heavier people (like me) due to the fact that it takes into account the cons – necessary weight when hanging from chin-bar UPS.Le only problem I have is when I do the wide grip chin-ups, my head hits the bar… I easily offset by resting my chin against his chest, and has not the best form, it provides extra clearance I need to complete the exercise. I am extremely pleased this purchase and would definitely recommend it. Rating: 5 / 5
Earlier this year I was hooked on P90X Pullups. I had been using a door mounted pull up bar, but I am 6 feet tall and it became a pain. I started looking for a pullup tower high enough to fully cover on Pullups. I also need something stable and compact. Business units have been both expensive and too big for my space. . . so I pulled the trigger and bought the VKR Amber. I highly recommend this product. This is certainly not as stable as a commercial product but it is more than adequate for home use. My unit came without the delivery problems noted in other reviews. Minor damage to the surface, but the unit is in perfect condition. Some nuts and bolts were loose in the box, but all were accounted for. I myself easily in about 1 1 / 2 hours using a wrench and socket set. The fit and finish are very good. The top of the pull up bar is about 84 inches tall in the assembly unit making it much easier to extend fully on Pullups. I highly recommend this product. Here are some advantages and disadvantages … prostrate good fit and finish, the product live up to its description. Easy to assemble. Minimum footprint. Stable for home use (with minimum wobble pulls and dips – I’m about 175 and 6 feet). ConsBon price but Amazon has dropped the price $ 30 only days after I purchased the unit for about $ 186 – Aggravating! Listed in the 150s maintenant.Tirez the bar a little closer (as described) and Extreme & caps # xe9; on the pull up bar shift and rotation (easy to fix with a small pad / tape if desired). I like the foam grips on the bar adjustable to different grips though.Comme another reviewer noted caution should be Dips made with hitting his head. Requires a minor adjustment, not a big problème.Rating: 4 / 5
As announced. Falls in an area near an apartment efficiency. Stable exercises as planned. Missing assembly instructions sent via email within the hour when the company contacted. Would get another one but I do not need. Rating: 4 / 5
